CINCINNATI -- A homeowner points and fires a gun at a man who was trying to break inside his home overnight in Delhi Township. The homeowner says he wasn't taking any chances. Police say he fired his gun as the suspect tried to break-in to his home in the 4400 block of Hillside Avenue around 1 a.m. Monday. A Johnson County, Missouri homeowner reportedly used his handgun to protect himself and his wife from a home invader. Police say that the the man and his wife were in their home at about 10 AM when they heard a noise outside. A north Harris County man shot a pair of suspected home invaders on Friday, killing one and wounding the other, during a gunbattle outside his house, officials said. DECATUR, Ga. (MyFOX ATLANTA) - A Decatur homeowner will not be charged for shooting an intruder Wednesday morning. DeKalb County police said 40-year-old Dexter Tucker was justified in shooting a 17-year-old who broke into his home. A St. Petersburg, Florida man reportedly used his gun to stop a home invader. Police say that a burglar tried to break in through the rear window of a home on the 1900 block of Seminole Blvd at about 9:40 AM.
